Building ji’s Dream Wedding

wedding design starts with a cohesive color palette

How we did it:

Ji’s love for blue and white streamlined patterns inspired us to incorporate modern geometric shapes with bold, happy colors.
With the brick and industrial vibes of their venue, it felt only right to add a bit of copper as an accent!

Ceremony with Style

Hexagon Arch and Confetti Dreams

How we did it:

Procured the hexagon arch from a rental company and worked with florist to design and style with greenery
Worked with venue representative to position ceremony in the corner of the windows
Passed out and coordinated confetti cannons with the bridal party during the couple’s exit

Flipping a Space from Ceremony to Reception

A Table for Two

Creating the Sweetheart Table Set

How we did it:

Repurposed the ceremony backdrop behind the sweetheart table
Procured a vintage settee in the wedding colors and a exposed wood table from the rental company
Worked with the florist to design and style florals on the front of the table with accents of candlelight

Coordinating, not Matching

Acing the Eclectic Look

How we did it:

Ordered both exposed wood tables and round tables with linen to add interest to the space
Collected copper containers in various sizes and shapes for the florist’s centerpieces
Designed centerpieces to be mixed between candle-centered and floral-centered
Worked with the florist to have multiple pops of color and types of flowers
Designed table numbers with clean, copper linework to accent the containers

Confection Perfection

Wedding Cake or Piece of Art?

How we did it:

Worked with the pastry chef to design a copper-brushed wedding cake
Procured a streamlined, thin cake stand to keep the cake as the center of attention
Designed and installed modern paper 3D art to pull in the geometric motif

We probably would have been a disaster without Taylor!

We had an incident where our getting ready room was not available last minute. I was stressed out greeting family and friends from out of state already and tried to get a hold of hotels but was put on numerous holds and I just gave up. My fiancé at the time called Taylor and within minutes, she found us a suite!!

We truly enjoyed our special day thanks to Taylor!
